Based on the findings, we’ll develop a personalized plan of treatment and training which are tailored to your condition and goals.
The number of chiropractic sessions varies based on your condition, severity of symptoms, and personal health goals. While some patients experience significant relief after just a few sessions, remember it’s the goal and ethos of The KiRO Clinic to help you strengthen underlying weaknesses to ensure the problem you came in for doesn’t come back quickly again. If this is your goal too (amazing) but this won’t happen overnight so our plan will to help you get back to your best and stay there... will need longer term commitment
Chiropractic adjustments are generally pain-free and provide instant relief in many cases. Some patients may experience mild soreness after their first few sessions, similar to what you feel after a workout. This is a normal part of the healing process.
Many patients experience relief after their first visit, while others notice gradual improvements over multiple sessions. Factors like lifestyle habits, posture, nutrition, past medical history and severity of the condition can affect recovery time.
We also encourage our patient to realise there is a big difference between short term pain relief and long term resolution on their complaint.
At your first visit, your chiropractor will discuss your medical history and perform a physical exam. If needed, they’ll order diagnostic imaging tests done to understand more about your musculoskeletal system including. After learning more about your symptoms and what might be causing your discomfort, your chiropractor will develop a unique treatment plan based on exam findings and hopefully begin treatment to start the journey back to your best.
A chiropractic adjustment is a safe, non-invasive technique used to realign the spine, improve joint function, and relieve musculoskeletal pain. If you’re experiencing back pain, neck pain, headaches, or sports injuries in Central London, chiropractic care offers a natural, drug-free solution to restore mobility and reduce discomfort.
You may feel and hear a popping or cracking sensations during a chiropractic adjustment. These are gases, like oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide, released from your joints. Gas gets trapped in small cavities of your joints when you move and stretch. While this gas release may be more apparent during a chiropractic adjustment, you experience a similar sound when you crack your knuckles.
Chiropractic adjustments offer little to no pain during a procedure, similar to what you might feel after a workout. You will not feel severe pain during a chiropractic adjustment. Your chiropractor will apply a controlled amount of force (pressure) to your joints, which creates a cracking or popping noise as the gas leaves your joints. While this may sound painful, it doesn’t feel painful.
Many people feel almost immediate relief from symptoms after a chiropractic adjustment. After treatment, you might feel sore for 24 hours.
The goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore your health over the long term, rather than to relieve your symptoms short term. In the short term our chiropractor team at The KiRO Clinic may discuss ways to position your body at your desk, when you’re standing and moving and when you’re in bed. They might also recommend incorporating stretches into your daily routine. These long-term tips can help prevent future problems.

Beware of those who call themselves “professional bone cracking experts” and lack any sort of qualification.
